Alice Austin
Owner | Massage Therapist

My personal intention as a bodyworker is to help improve your quality of life by bringing serenity to the mind and allowing body and spirit to breathe. May the feelings of tranquility and clarity that you experience after a treatment begin to have lasting effects and enter all aspects of life.

I am a licensed and certified bodywork therapist specializing in eclectic body therapies. My work is a blend of Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Trigger Point Massage techniques with Reiki energy balancing. I also practice Thai Massage, Reflexology, and Pre-natal Massage. These can be integrated as a unique treatment to suit your needs, or done as separate and more traditional modalities.

My practice began in Vermont in 1999 where I studied with Larry Bennett as an apprentice. I continued sharing an office space and learning from Larry until 2001. In January of 2002, I relocated to Lexington, Massachusetts and worked out of the Spa at the Mount Auburn Club until 2007.

With a background as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, my interest in Massage Therapy grew out of learning about functional movement and pain management through helping my clients strengthen, stretch and balance their bodies. Learning Massage Therapy complimented what I already knew about the body in motion from a holistic healing perspective. Although I have worked extensively with sports-related injuries, my interest and skills are also very much in the spiritual and intuitive aspects of general health, healing, and well-being.

Alicia Alessandrini
Massage Therapist

My goal as a massage therapist is to bring the gift of a relaxing caring touch to my clients-- to encourage the mind and body’s natural healing abilities and to direct it to follow the path of harmony, balance, and peace.

My massage has been described as nurturing, therapeutic and tranquil.

As a mid-western transplant (originally a native of Michigan) I have fallen in love with the beauties of New England.  Prior to moving to Massachusetts (with my two dogs - Dingo, a Basenji, and Shema, an elderly Chow Chow) I was a graphic artist and I owned and operated Whiskers Pet Sitting Service in Grand Rapids.

In December of 2009 I graduated from The Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics and Massage Therapy in Medford, Massachusetts where I received an extensive and well-rounded foundation in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage.  In addition I am practiced in several other therapeutic modalities such as Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Stretching and Range of Motion Techniques, and Hot Stone Therapy.  My certifications include Level One Reiki and Massage for Patients with Cancer.

I am excited about becoming a part of the Concord community and I look forward to working with you!

Massage Therapist

Born and raised in Massachusetts, my options for schooling seemed almost endless. It was quite clear I always had a love for the sciences, but just never seemed to really find the proper class or training that intrigued me. After trying out a semester at Umass Boston, it wasn't long before I realized that I was not in the right place. I didn't want to be at a job that I found bearable or mediocre, mostly for my sanity, but also because I knew I was capable of more than that. So I left. Many people always said that I would never go back to school and it was ridiculous to think that I would find a job that I love and was successful, but I did. I enrolled into Salter College in W. Boylston in January 2008, and I couldn't believe the difference. All the sudden I found myself engrossed in books, magazine articles, website after website just trying to learn a new technique or different approach. My life was completely transformed; massage brought back a huge peace and interest in a new life that I seemed to have lost over the years. My love for massage therapy started at a very young age and I only hope that it allows me to stay on the path of happiness and success in my life.

I began my training in massage therapy in 2008, and quickly realized this truly was my calling. I love to be in a field where I get to grow and learn more about the mind, body, and soul as a whole. It is my personal belief that the mind can only heal the body; it is our job to balance the mind and body allowing the soul to be at peace.

My massage is a blend of flowing deep tissue techniques with relaxing deep pressure Swedish to allow for stress relief and healthy circulation. With training in table Thai and myo-fascial release, I focus on joint range of motion and pain management from chronic issues or trauma. While at the same time give a grounding and balancing massage to re-boost your body allowing you to have better energy, less pain, improved sleep which makes you and your body healthy and happier! :) At the same time remembering that you don't need to have trauma, stress, pain, or age be the reason to receive massage. This is why I made sure to be able to reach out to most of society. From pediatrics to geriatrics, stressed to those having mobility problem I would love to meet and help you all!

I look forward to meeting and working with you at Concord Integrative Bodywork.

Kendra Lennartson
Massage Therapist

I am a licensed and insured Massage Therapist, and a member of the AMTA. I graduated from the Salter School in Tewksbury, Massachusetts in June of 2007 with a 900-Hour Massage Therapy Certificate. Since graduating, I have worked at three different reputable Massachusetts spas as a Massage Therapist, where I gained experience in addition to deepening my interest in the Healing Arts. I was able to implement and expand my set of skills, which include Deep Tissue, Swedish, Trigger Point Therapy, Prenatal Massage, Sports Massage, and Hot Stone Therapy.

For me, the real appeal of being a Massage Therapist is the humanitarian aspect. I have always wanted to help people, even as a young child. Hands-on healing gives me a sense of purpose, and I am looking forward to working with you.
